From the Linkspredder

Larissa has a link to a breaking UK news story that there were plans drawn up to depose Saddam two years before 9/11.

It’s too bad you can’t arrest a government and depose it. Or, apparently, stop it from killing all the witnesses.

Daniel Pipes is one of vilest liars active in American politics today.

Iran is not our enemy. Don’t let the oil-co. stooges tell you otherwise.

The enemy of Israel is not my enemy, or my friend.

I can almost say the same of Israel, but I’m still waiting on that apology for the USS Liberty.

I see that David Vitter has lifted his hold on several stalled Obama nominees for Louisiana. Foolishly, I assumed that Vitter had been embarrassed into doing so since once of O’Keefe’s “Raiders” was the son of the outgoing U.S. Attorney in Shreveport.

Not at all. Holder finally caved and allowed Vitter to make a direct appointment of a card-carrying wingnut to the DOJ advisory panel on U.S. Attorney appointments.

Shameless, and more crooked than a dog’s hind leg, and that’s almost as bad as being so craven and desperate for Republican approval that you succumb to this sort of booyah mau mauing.

Majikthise on O’Keefe’s mentor, Ben Wetmore, ratfucker trainer/handler

More on Wetmore from Justin Elliot at TPM [interestingly if you search for him with Google Images you quickly see that he's mastered the art of the reverse google bomb, plastering the internet with your name attached to insulting pics of the opposition [but I do see progress in terms of his actual photo since just last night)]

Sarah Palin the Untold Magazine hits the shelves today and Palin doesn’t make a dime from them (the joys of being a public figure)

And, if you clicked all those links, here’s your bonus Michele Bachmann link. Ron Carey, for those who don’t remember his nasty ass, was the most confrontational MN Republican chair ever. Carey made liberal use of Michael Brodkorb’s blog to slander Democrats almost daily.

Expect Bachmann’s re-election campaign to be the nastiest ever. So nasty you’ll probably need a case of this to get you through to November.

Most of the quality journalists got fired ages ago, the hell freelancers are experiencing is a byproduct of professional journalists failing to write about the exploitation of the self-employed (there are still good reporters, but much of their best content is deleted by corporatist editors)
